WTB: High Compression / elevation head for 1M 800 EFI

Let me know what you have. Does anyone know if I can run the high compression head at high elevation only, without an EFI controller. It seems like it should run the same as it does here in MN (low elevation) in the mountains with the higher compression head. Does this seem right?

I have a speedwerx head on my 800efi and used it with a single pipe and reeds and gutted or box with no fuel controler with no problems. I might be building a differnt motor so i'll let you know in a few days if i'm interested in selling the head.
