WRP Seat

Just had recived my wrp moutain seat. And All I can say is the fit and finish is horrible. I have one inch gaps along the bottom of the seat and up to the front. Then it also sticks out past the side of the fuel tank and tunnel.

So i thought this cannot be down on the tank. So I put a couple of drops of paint on the frame where I thought it was not down enough. Sadly enough it is down and all the way ahead. A I the ouly one that thought this fits poorly.

I bought one for a 13 800 in december and mine fits terrible too! Not so much on the bottom but the front where it flares out and down to the tank. Its flared to much and rups the inside of your calves and knees! Not what I thought I would be getting when shelling out cold hard cash for a aftermarket seat! Not impressed!

I know you shouldn't have too, but is there any chance you could heat the seat pan up with a heat gun and bend the pan to fit? That might be a quick fix for the disappointment....?

I looked at that and am going to try when I have time. I don't think it will work. The base is thick there and the plastic base does not seem/feel to me like it will take heat and set. (Looks like it would melt first.) IMO

I'll post when I try.
