wrp or boss seat?

I am looking at getting a new seat, just wondering what your guys thoughts are on the wrp and boss seats.

The WRP is a little taller. At least thats what i felt when i sat on one. They are a nice solid built seat. They ONLY thing I dont like about the WRP is how it is finished by the gas tank. Underneath, I just think it looks a little unfinished.

I'd go WRP just because of boss's reputation for poor quality and terrible customer service.

Could we get some pics of both seats on the sleds please and will the WRP seat fit with the tunnel update complete??


I need a new seat but the since I went with the m8 board edges and the tunnel update im scared the WRP seat bracket wont fit??

Here is a picture of the WRP on a sled. I am not familiar with the tunnel update on that sled. What did they do to it and i will tell you if it will fit or not.

WRP seat looks nice, But like Rixter said bad fit along front to fuel tank and below is not deep enough. I thought they would try to coverup the bottom stantion and tank edge a little more and use the factory quick release. An extra lb. worth of seat material big deal. But it would look A1!

I just picked up this seat for my KK. It definitely sits taller than the boss and I saw the bag that they have. The bag looks great as opposed to the boss with zipper issues. I would personally have one big bag than smaller pockets.

That being said I was a little disappointed in the way the front of the seat does not cover the gas tank on the bottom. On other sleds this is not as much of an issue as the tanks on new sleds are black and you can not tell as much. With the clear/white tank it really does not look like it was meant for this sled.

Very happy with the hight, feel, and materials.

I also realized how bad my tunnel looks underneath the old seat so I will need to take some time to hide the light wire and clean up the tunnel with some light polishing. I will post pics when mounted up.

I will wiegh both seats when I get back and post the differences as well.

Thankyou, I am thinking of one of these seats but the fit is not what I had expected like yourself! You could paint the tank outer edge too make it blend in better? Unless you stripped the vinyl off the tank? The rear light I would put in the back of the seat with a LED, Then ditch the wire under the seat. It would be nice if they had molded in plastic clips for this?
