I'm interested in hearing more about these. So WRP has begun making seats compatible with the Early IQ sleds now? Nice Would the seats be a simple snap lock fitment like the standard 05-06 RMK seats are, or would it be a newer style "open trunk" with support bar similar to the new raw sled seats?

Any pictures you can provide?

Thanks Paul, however, I didn't really see anything in that thread that answered my questions, still only saw pics and info on the RAW style seats... the original IQ seat design is quite a bit different so I'd still like to see some clarification on this.

WRP Polaris 05-06 Products

Sorry Guys I have been out of town sledding and just got back in the office. We do have the 05-06 Mountain ASSAULT Seats and Mountain Tuff Boards available. I have attached some pics of each below. The fastening of the seat uses factory mounts. This particular seat does not have the Freestyle mounts. We require the seat core to use to build from this insures that the seat will mount back factory.

The price for the 900 05-06 models are $329 with manditory core of seat pan and foam.

seat looks great..but why not just incorparate the seat post plate in there so guys can dump the stock seat pan..

the seat is the same other then the mounting, am i wrong...as long as the clup holds the fuel tank like the 05-06 IQ then its a no brainer...

Hay guys. I got one of WRP seats on my 05 900. Doug at WRP hooked me up with it as a prototype. I'm trying to get some pic. out to him but we have not had any snow. But there is a few pic on my tread summerbuild 05 900. I hope to get out this weekend & get a few pic. sent to him.The seat ROCKS

The reason we have not incorporated a new seat pan is because it would simply increase the cost to do the same purpose. We would rather keep costs lower rather than higher. The seat is mounted back factory as we use the factory pan. This way we do not have to change the attachment method and start using velcro or snaps if you know what I mean. We have a very quick turn time, typically the day we recieve the core seat pan we have it in the mail back to you. We pride ourselves on quick turn time and customer service. I hope this answers your question.

Rob met up with Marks brother unlaw this last weekend in Idaho he like the seat i'll try and get pic. to you on monday. I used the 09 seat bar or you could order a custum one, bolts on in same holes as stock plastic but you need to drill two holes.And get two rubber gromets with 3/8 bolts to fit in wear the rubber bumpers are for the stock seat set up is, About .98 cents each.Works great.

since this thread is about a year old.... how are these seats holding up??? is the foam used in the modded seat the same density as the oem seat?? i've had bad luck with aftermarket seat foams in the past, are these seats still available for the 05- 06 900's??

We have not had any of these seats come back with any issues and yes they are still available for that model. On that particular model you need to send me the foam and pan and we do a complete rebuild of your seat. i have had no complaints on how we have been doing them. We offer a high and low density foam.

A little slow here since its early and I am snow deprived....But with this new seat it still attaches to the tunnel like stock using the goofy black cup in the back??? I would rather it attach like the 07 and up so I can put a bag under there!?? Any mod you guys do for this A WRP?

Well you can mod the oem 900 seat pan to use the dragon style support bar... and since WRP uses your stock seat pan to make their seat... I don't see why you can't run the dragon seat support with the WRP seat mod!!
