How close is the storage to the original seat on 2010 M8? I love the looks of this seat, looks like a little easier to navigate when going side to side.

VERY NICE. I am intrigue. How do the front lower sides of the seat match up with the CF gas tanks? Reason I didn't buy a MC seat was the ugly mismatch to the tank.

It's probably 2/3 the storage space compared to the ac shorty (which is still quite a bit of storage).

It's definitely out of the way. I like mine a lot. About my only gripe is the padding could be a little stiffer. Since it's thinner you can feel the ribs in your knee if you ride without shin guards. It's a minor complaint though. After my first ride in deep snow, I happily sold my AC one.

Had one as well, super light and MUCH better then the cat seat. Lower, easier to get over, good but not great storage, but comes with the territory of a smaller seat. Good investment for 150$ after selling the stock cat seat.
