I'm not trying to be critical, but I can't tell what made him fall-off the sled. No rock, nothing. I'm also impressed he had the presence of mind to clean-off the camera lens while he and his sled were tumbling down the hill. Nice.

What I don't understand is why did he keep going over by the rocks. It looked like he would have shot right to the top had he stayed in the middle of the chute in the snow???

yeah my guess is he started flying back down the chute, correctly decided it was going to get way faster before it got any slower, and chose to bail.

i was showing that vid to friends a month or two ago, and wow who are these clowns? well i guess i cant judge. they probably had their trip planned to ak and showed up to no snow then tried to make the best. but one would think use of judgement would be in order? 6 inch deep icy baked low snow on a exposed rocky surface? yeah im gunna take a pull on that hill!!

Thought the same. Most of their pulls were over previous slide debris fields. Pretty aggressive for only two guys.

yeah pretty marginal snow when you see the grass coming through. Nothing like carving a rock area with your skis. Good video but stupid climb IMO.
