Im looking at putting a wrap on the XM soon, but just wondering how they are holding up. Are they peeling off? fading? Would you do it again after installing the wrap kit? just over all pros and cons! Thx

Thx guys for the info! It only took a night to install :face-icon-small-hap And you guys are right, you need the install kit, it does help! Here is a couple pic's Thx

Preparation and application are very important towards the durability of a wrap. If you just stick it on, you can pretty well count on it peeling off fairly easily especially once the sled is in extreme cold temperatures. I have over 20 days on each of these sleds this season and the ARCTIC FX GRAPHICS wraps are keeping their color and holding up extremely well.

I did a tunnel wrap this year. Took my time and looks killer. However it's wearing where boots grind on the edges.

I've been running Lime Nine wraps on my sleds the last 5 years and they hold up amazing. They don't fade, don't peel. Local guys like Geoff Kyle, Dan Treadway, Grant Clarke, Brett Turcotte all sport Lime Nine wraps and log 100+ days a year sledding. Check them out:

My sled lives outside all year long (I don't have a garage) it doesn't have a cover either. This wrap has been on for over two years and 6000km of riding.

I run braapwraps and had on one for the last 2.5 seasons. I decided to change the colors this season. So far it's holding up and the only thing that damaged the wrap was a belt flying through my side panel at 8300 rpm.

Color holds and the only real wear is where my pull rope rubs when starting.

Has gas done any damage to the area around the gas cap if you over fill? I know we all do this one time or another and wipe the gas off right away, are the wraps holding up there? Thx

Mine doesn't fade or discolor. But I alsways clean that area with glass cleaner or simple green immediately.

wraps are amazing. the quality and durability available on the market now is top notch.

After re-wrapping a sled I can tell you that the only thing holding some of the plastic panels together was THE WRAP. I even had to order new parts..lol

www.braapwraps.com makes some sweet XM wraps...and offers all different levels of wrap to match your budget.

We have personally wrapped about 10 sleds this year. All ArcticFX stuff, and have been very happy with the product. The availability to customize kits is very nice, and also the availability to cover part or all of the sled has been a huge hit with our customers. Myself personally, I have ran ArcticFX stuff the last four years and have never had an issue. And if I wrecked a sled or side panel or hood, he would send the replacement pieces at little cost to me! Super service and durability!

Thanks for the info on the wraps! looks like i will be getting mine soon :face-icon-small-hap Should I get the install kit to install the wrap or is it something you can do without. Any info on doing this will help :face-icon-small-dis thx

It's a rap

I've had two HTR raps and both have held up really well. That includes rubbing up against trees. The 3m control tac is great and I'm not sure what they use for the tunnel side but it is wicked thick and is bomb proof.

I've had a few sleds with ArcticFX and with Braapwraps. Neither have peeled, faded, discolored or anything else. They both use good material. I think as long as you have a clean surface and apply the wrap correctly, they hold up great. My 2011 Pro is on it's third year with the ArcticFX wrap.
