Well, with so many people still riding we decided to make one last trip just to say we rode in July. Couldn't ask for better weather and only had to ride a half mile of snirt before we got to a solid snow pack. Made some good climbs, played around in the ravines and trees. Decided to scout out a spot towards the end of the day and ended up getting western and trying to bring some lumber home. The sled is nothing short of totaled, but the odd thing was what didn't break. The throttle side of the bars was intact so I was actually able to ride it all the way out. Needless to say, riding this late in the year is something I will always remember, but the overall outcome of today is far from what was expected. To top it all off my buddy almost did the exact same thing and wound up with some carnage of his own. Probably the first AND last attempt at riding in July, but at least I can check it off the bucket list.
