Are wraps a PITA to put on? Installation guides straight forward? Installation "kit" needed?
Anyone use a decal remover wheel on side panels and hoods?

Also, can someone familiar with Photoshop change colors on this pic for me, if it's even possible? Change Lime to Orange. Blue to Grey. Also do one Blue to White if you could.

Thanks in advance. Not sure if I'll go this route yet I just don't have any experience with putting one on. I'll also see if IT will let me put Photoshop on my work computer so I don't have to ask so many damn questions next time...

Just in case you don't already know....If you go here you can change all of the colors on this wrap and the body panels behind it right on their website.

The wrap is easy to install but your first one will take some time. When you buy from ArticFX you can get a small kit for the installation and there are some things in it that I think help with the install. I will be doing my third next week and they just get easy each time. The instructions with the kit's are usually good from what I have seen. I can't speak to any other brands as this is the only brand of wrap I have worked with but I would bet they all are very similar in installation.

There are no install guides with any wrap I have ever seen, just look at the pieces and your sled and figure out where they go. You should be able to go arctic fx's website and color that wrap the way you want, no photo shop needed. If its not listed on their site, email them that picture and tell them the color you want and within minutes (they have been super fast for me) they should have a proof sent to you.

Installing a wrap is not hard or something to be scared of, but you must be patient. AFX's install kit is money well spent, as well as a heat gun to remove the stickers your sled already has.

ArcticFX gives you a template of where the decals go on the machine vs where they are located on the roll they are printed on. Super easy to follow.

As for installation, they are mostly time consuming. Once you do two or three decals you will get the hang of it. I just did my Axys wrap and did all of it dry instead of wet. You can place the decal on the spot lightly to see if it fits well and if it doesn't you can remove it and try again. Out of the entire kit I only messed up one decal. It fell onto a blanket while I was messing with it so now it has a bunch of debris under it. I may have ArcticFX send me a new one if it bugs me enough.

Thanks

Thanks for the replies guys.
Andretti - Exactly what I was looking for. Appreciate it brother.

NorthMN - Ya, I can't believe how many color schemes/options they have on their website. Crazy. I just wanted to see it actually on a sled.
ps. Not sure where you are but I have an interview for my dream job in Duluth sometime soon.

Their website is pretty amazing! But that photoshop work by AndresttiDog looks killer!!

I live in Ham Lake (just north of the twin cites) and have a cabin just south of Lake Of The Woods. Good luck with the job interview!!!

They are not hard. I have done two ArcticFx wraps and as said above, just take your time. I did a little every night and tried not to rush. The kit they have is worth it. There is a diagram so you can see where the individual pcs go. The heat gun method or just a hair dryer has worked great for me on taking off the originals. Just heat up enough to get that glue warmed up and slowly start to pull from a corner and heat as you pull.

I have done 4 Arctic FX sled wraps and one RZR wrap and they get easier each time. Their sticker quality has greatly improved since the kit that I installed on my 600 rmk. I also helped one of my buddies install an E-sticky wrap on his sled. The kit is about half the price of an Arctic FX but the sticker quality isn't as good. If you put the sticker in the wrong place with that kit, its harder to remove and reposition because some of the glue stays onto the panel. With the Arctic FX, the sticker isn't really set into place until you put pressure or heat onto it to seal it there.

I've done about five wraps from Arctic FX. I pull the two side panels and hood and bring them inside the house where it is warm. That just leaves the sides of the tanks and tunnels outside. I like the method of spraying the decals and sled parts with the application and moving the decal around, then letting it dry out. But I know some people like to do it dry.
