WP AER Spring Conversion

Bought a 2017 Husky FX450 with this WP spring conversion on it. Can't seem to find any info on line at all about it. Interested in knowing what the preload adjustment range is? Hard stops on either end of adjustment knob so I can see how many turns I have to work with? I expect so but don't want to find out the hard way...... Strange that I cannot find any info whatsoever on it including WP website? Looks like a large number of vendors still sell it but no installation or user manuals available?

have the seals updated , The AER is superior due to the low weight and not one failure on 18 and newer with the updated seals, I have both spring conversion and Air.

Thanks but for now I will run the spring conversion kit and see how I like it. Any advice on the original question since you have used it before?

The spring conversion cost over 600 for the cartridge plus the $ spring . Ewer going the wrong direction and spending more $$

Thanks for your replies but you clearly didn't read my first post properly . I already have the spring conversion and I am not looking to buy anything else right now, I just want to know how to adjust it properly.

A 10.9 spring was the stiffest we found ,Its far too soft so add 1/2 inch preload if your kit has the adjustment if not make a shim .

I have a K-tech spring conversion. From what I understand on it you're fine anywhere within the limits of the knob. However the guy who builds my forks said to leave it all the way out, he's not a fan of adding pre-load. If you're needing to add pre-load then it's time to look for a stiffer spring or different valving set-up - or at least that's what I've been told.

They dont make stiffer AER springs, The goal is to hold the front up higher, thats the beauty of the air fork at 190 lbs pressure , Were not talking about dirt riding where too much preload make a harsh fork.. The 10.9 spring is the same as two 5.4 springs which are soft om the snow.
