I say lets put all the gays on one island, and the lesb's on another and let them (reproduce) as they see fit. ( how long does it take ads to run its course?)

I did some work for a gay couple this last year. I will tell ya what, they were great people to work for. I think that most gays are for the most part just like everyone else, in the fact that they dont want to be in a spotlight, just normal couples living there lives. The down side is you get the very vocal ones that really only want attention.
If two guys want to pack fudge, more power to them. I could care less, as long as it dont effect me or my family.
And if two ladies want to ..... well, you know, can I join?

Yha, I hear you. But, I have a problem with the ones that constantly want to push it on kids and everyone else. If they could just STFU and keep it too themselves, I'd be happier. But for some reason, a lot of gay people have to shove it in your face and on TV too much. Of course, I have the same problem with anyone that want to force anything on me.
The thought of one guy taking half of another guys' stuff, if kinda funny. Nothing will break up a happy couple faster than marriage and wedding cake.
You know that's interesting. Read a story just about that today. They want to build cities on the ocean, cross between a oil platform and barges. Far enough out, where they can have their own laws. Seems a bunch of gay people are wanting to build a gay city on the ocean.
i don't understand the californians. this last year was the SECOND time the state voted to ban gay marriage. Don't the liberals get it? There are more conservatives out there than them, we just aren't as vocal. We let our votes speak for us, and we don't feel like we are owed anything just because we are Americans.

I couldn't care less if they get married or not, it's none of my business. I wish the entire country would take the same stance on a bunch of issues. No different than New york senators voting on Idaho wilderness proposals. It is none of their business. I don't care what happens in Cali, as long as it stays there. Problem is people think that they know what is better for others.

I have a serious problem when they want to throw it in your face like their gay paraid where they put on the most outragious BS they can possibly wear and then expect everyone to take their kids to the parade.
Same as I don't want to see an ugly couple (guy and girl) jumpin each other in the street, I don't want to see 2 dudes doing it either.

They pushed the envelope and didn't get the answer they wanted.

These gay activist groups go to smaller populated states to try and pass this type of legislation first. They attempted to pass the gay marriage issue up here in the 90's, it was soundly defeated by 86% of the population. IMHO they try and get it to pass in the smaller populations before they take it to the grand scale, so they can say look state XY and Z accept it, thus you should. The reasoning here for them attempting to pass it was, there was a couple and they were upset that they could not get one of the two on health insurance. It cracks me up that California soundly passed the legislation stating that marriage is between a man and a woman. What were they thinking? CA is full of Mexican decendants= Roman Catholic values. It never stood a chance.
