WOW Scientist paid attention in Biology...

Did we not all learn this in the 5th or 6th grade. CO2 is not a bad thing... Oh and I think Photosynthesis has a bi-product called oxygen. Next thing we will find out is that oxygen may be good for us...

This part is a bit interesting though.

"Weigel said the studies have indicated that while greater CO2 exposure appears to spur growth, it can also undermine the quality of the produce."

that is hyper or rapid growth...and is usually goverened more by light....didnt we all do the bean experiment in 2nd grade? where the kids that put their bean in a closet to grow, it grew quickly and outpaced the others...but when it couldnt get light for photosynthesis, it died...thus quality was poor...

this is suprisingly ludicrous....my 6 year old gets this stuff!!! he learned it with his Chiapet...maybe I should put him up for a govt grant on Global warmings impact of light on chia pet???

No bean experiment here but I see where you're coming from. That article seems to be soley about CO2 and it's effects. According to the article too much is a bad thing!

On a lighter note..... Please let me know where I can get a Chia Garcia? :D

light = growing quickly, death = poor quality? I think there are some increments in between there that he was talking about.

So we should pollute more so that plants can grow better? Greenie!

the whole arguement about global warming is based on CO2.
There has been a growing (and thank god rapidly growing) group of scientist that have been debunking the Co2 mith since it's inseption. They are just now starting to get any recognition from the media and other scientist.

I alway wondered......in the mountains there are glaciers that have been receding since the ice age, and since there was an ice age, doesn't that mean the earth has spent the last several thousand years warming up?????
One note on co2, yes plants do use it part of the day, but isn't this why the loss of rain forests is so bad?

Stop pointing out facts that poke holes in the whole global warming deal. :p
