I couldn't believe my eye's.

Mike (1-877-snohawk) called me earlier this week and asked me if I'd recieved any freight, so I went and looked, and HOLY SMOKES sitting on the ground in front of me was a new GREEN ZX2 suspension for my Hawk. Boy was I surprised!

For those of you that don't know, Mike came out here and went riding with us two weeks ago. He brought the Explorer bike kit with him. It was really a pleasure to meet him and have him ride with us. I'm sure he'll be back for some more.

So, anyway, I was just shocked to see this good looking green suspension sitting there. It wasn't long before I had that thing installed and ready to ride. It's been storming for the last three days so tomorrow should be a really good day to go and try it out.

THANKS MIKE!!!:beer;:beer;:beer;

I'll post a ride report when I'm back.

SIck setup

That green set up rocks, how did it ride? WE want to get one for the 500 we are putting a 550f in it, does it feel lighter under the machine? Thanks again for the great ride in Utah, you local hawkers ripped!! WE got some great new footage posted on mccbrothers.com in the video section, from last three weekends, check it out it will pump you up.

I could not believe how nice it rode! Way,Way, Way better than the stock skid. Didn't bottom out or kick. Track doesn't tighten up when compressed. Being that it is plastic, it kiinda conforms to the trail or terrain, ie. it has some flex. Only drawback I saw was You have to run the track a little tighter than normal.

This setup (ZX2 144") weighed 55 lbs. Stock skid weighed 62 lbs. The one I pulled out weighed 47 lbs. I could barely feel the weight difference when pounding thru the whoops.

I don't know if I would waste it on a 500, this is definately worth putting in your serious mountain Hawk.

Checked out the latest footage, looks awesome!!! Can't wait to ride with you again!

Sick suspension! Hey is that a Simmons ski with a tri axis mount? Is it the best of both worlds?

Yep, also notice I mounted the tracker kit on the outside edges. The mount has about 4.5" of adjustment forward and back to set the ski were you prefer. Uses the stock bracket off twin axis. Got it from Steve at B's outback.
Billet alum. Works good.

yes
