I started my addition last weekend and this is the progress in 2 weekends. The beam is engineered but working around it with a skid loader and one bump this thing would come down. Do you think my homeowners would cover it?

yes those are temp 6x6 supports. The telepost is also temp so I can get the pad poured for it. The 6x6 temp out on the end is sitting on a 3x3x3 poured pad. I dug the permanent pad last night to pour for the center support and look what I found! Anyway going to pump this down and throw some betonite in there to try and dry it up a as best possible.
Did you ask if you screwed something up and the corner of the house fell into a hole, if that is covered? Might not want to ask that, but I thought that was your original question and I don't get the feeling that is what you asked in the above quote.Fyi just got off phone with insurance agent told them I was adding a garage and replacing basement walls they said no additional coverage is needed. I asked them to be sure they checked with underwriting and since it's an attached improvement it's covered.
