worth coming to the u.p. this weekend?

i rode off trail between mass city, and twin lakes lst weekend, and it was not worth the trip! very hard, packy snow!! if i were you id save my money! imo

We had some fresh snow, between 5-10 inches depending where you are in the Western UP, better close to the lake and further north. Friday looks to be about 30, with 40's for Sat and Sunday. Off trail will have some fresh, and with the warm temps it should soften the snow to make it a little more challenging. Your call, but there wont be too many weekends left unless the temps cool off a little bit and we keep the rain away!

I was up this weekend and had a blast. You can go anywhere. We spent a lot of time in the woods searching out good terrain for next season. We even had a few stucks. It was nice to ride in just a base layer on Saturday when it was 50 out. I'd go now before you can't go anymore and regret it.

Just returned from the UP Thursday morning.
It was awesome!
The trails that had been groomed were decent with some water puddles.
The best part was boondocking.
There was about 3 foot of snow in the woods south of Munising.
Was softened up by the warm temps.
Sunny & 60 was the norm the last few days, with great boondocking! :D

the snow is pretty poor up here but can still get some riding in. I'd say hold off on coming up. trails are very poor everywhere and off trail is going to be either hard or if it melts again, wet. it looks like the season is coming to a quick end.

and rockmeister, im south of munising and we do have the snow but it is poor, boodocking was good a few weekends ago when we had the big pow but right now with the snow as wrotten as it is underneath it is a good way to get into the sticks with the track or plunge the front end to deep and nail stumps. cross your fingers for one more snow storm we always get a "St. Pattys day" storm sometime in the spring

i was in copper harbor last weekend, and i found thee to be a very good amount of snow yet. trails were getting a litlle rough but only some corners were showing any dirt. i also thought i seen snow for there forcast this week. has me thinking of going back to the mariner north this weekend (or is it the soroity formal that will be there sat:):beer;
