I just joined to be able to see if the timebomb under the hood of my 2010 assault is as bad as I fear that it is. I bought my sled brand new in september of 09, 5 days after having my first child, and then soon after I began reading all kinds of reviews about how many problems the 800's were having. So since 09 i've only put just over 400 miles on my new sled, that I thought was awesome untill I began questioning it's reliability. Now my warrenty is over and I am afraid that the next time I ride it I am going to loose a piston. On top of that I just had another child and can't really afford to be throwing 500 to 1000 into a rebuild on a sled that I'm still paying for, and rarely ever riding.
