sorry about the short notice, but state parks just gave us the ok, Some times is just works that way, jump on it when we can. we are clearing an old abandoned road to tie in the john wayne / monohan tail to the easton reload snopark. This will make it easier for Don and tim to get the groomer across the cabin creek road, it makes an easier loop for them, thus giving us more grooming for our dollars. As dealing with state parks or the forest service, there's alway a small amount of red tape to cut thru, but hey they came thru this time!!!

Thanks for the update and the effort

I will be there..... look for a white Jeep Liberty... the owner will have a clueless look on his face! :beer;

Work went pretty easily and there were quite a bit a people. Found out they are a club... called hi-mountain something something... Dan told me, but I forgot...:rolleyes:

Cool group of people that mainly just do trail maintenance / work on the trail system... improvements and the like. They don't have structured meetings or anything.. just working to make what they like to do in the winter, better.

I told Dan to post more stuff on here. There are a lot of peeps that are willing to donate a day to giving them a hand. Judging by the posts on this thread, that would seem correct.

BTW, it was worth the time just to get my arse out of bed to see the sunrise over the mountains.... spectacular!

My hat is off to Dan for putting this thing together!

Dan does a awesome job of getting people and groups together and supporting the sport he and his families love. He will finds some good support if he will let us know when they have work projects planned--they put in a real nice road last year for the groomer up in that area!! Great job guys and gals.

Thanks for going for us Ruffy!!

Thanks for going for us Ruffy!!

Us? Does that mean your arms are sore too?:p

No prob though.... it was good to get out of town for a little and get up into the mountains. I haven't been up there in a while, I forget what they look like sometimes...

Hopefully we can talk Dan in posting more stuff... I will see if I can be of use in that department.

The Jet Boys, Dan and Jim Johnson are by far the coolest dudes in the car and motorsports industry period. If you need a new GM vehicle go buy from them. They need your support right now. Times are very tuff for everybody, but help them out if you can.
I've been riding with the Jet Boys for 25 years. We have some awesome times together. Dan does a whole lot for sledding in this state. I know a whole bunch of other people do also. Thanks for everything you Jet Boys do for me. DK.
