Woods and Steel overflowing today.

And the snow is far from good----ICE and more ICE---evn up at 5000 it was pretty icey--found some that was not--but most of it was.

I am done untill we see some snow:(

H20SKE...

Yep, definatly the most rigs I have ever seen up there. At least the roads are smooth now! Too bad that's the only upside to this weather we are having.

I too am done until we get more snow, I've done enough trail riding for the season. Time to go work on the racecar and get it ready.

Yep, it was a great trail ride today. The groomer had just come through last night so it was smooth all the way up.

There was probably a 6 inch layer of new snow that was soft once you broke through the crust. This was probably the snow they got the other day.

There we bare spots on the windy pass loop and 114. Pretty pathetic for this time of the year. That rain really did damage to a lot of the areas.

How are the conditions on the trails?

We are taking the whole family up to Cle Elum for the holiday weekend...hoping for some good riding. We have many brand new riders in our group...are the conditions bad for beginners? We were hoping for a bunch of snow for some great play time. Any info you can give us would be appreciated!

I would suggest if you have Brand New Riders you take them to Stampede Pass!
Hopefully they will get some snow by then!

2nd the opinion on Stampede area. Cle Elum area got rain a few weeks ago. Any snow you find is pure ice. Not enough coverage to get off road either....

Probably OK up towards Quartz, but it's a lot of ice just to get there.
