Wood trailer deck covering idea!

I got this stuff at Lowe's for $50.00. There is enough in the kit to cover a 2 place drive off trailer. When it dries it gives the trailer a line x type coating and is non skid.

I think this stuff is new to the market so I thought i would try it. So far i like the finish. I will update after some inclement weather to see how it holds up.

Did you do anything special to prep the wood?

Report back on how it holds up to the sleds.

I had to redeck trailer anyways so it was new wood. It says to powerwash old wood though.

I did my sled deck with this stuff this year(old wood). If it ever snows I'll report back how it holds up too.

What did you redeck with? marine? treated? regular AC plywood?

1/2", 5/8" or 3/4"?

I currently have my trailer stripped to the rails, repainted, but now I need to choose something better than the treated plywood I used from Menard's.

This stuff is holding up pretty well. I would suggest getting the 5 gallon bucket so that you can do the underside as well and still have enough to pile it on the top extra heavy.

I used 5/8'' treated plywood, not OSB.
