I don't see how people can protect a predator such as a wolf. They are part of our enviroment and they have there place, but they are a apex predator and need to be treated as such. I am glad to hear everyone was ok.

It seems to me after reading the posts on here for a while, that the best way to deal with them is the old shoot, shovel, an shut up method. All the political issues associated with these animals aren't going to be resolved anytime soon, an both sides are never going to agree. The activists want to preserve them, the ranchers don't. So the ranchers have to take matters into their own hands ( as they have been doing ). I know if it were my livestock that were at risk id take shots at them anytime i could. maybe thats just me tho

So what you are saying is because you live/recreate in the wild and constantly push further and further into their territory you should not be forced to have to deal with predators like this but only those things which pose no harm or threat to you. Suck it up. You're part of the food chain whether you like it or not
