Holy Crap...that thing is large :eek:Looks like something from the old "Teen Wolf" movie. Hope that's not Michael J Fox.:face-icon-small-hap

That is reported to be actually a Canadian wolf...according to an older thread on here.

Either way, that is a huge pooch and I am glad to see another predator taken out of the ecosystem.

IT WAS NOT shot in SV. Can anyone say photoshop???? Its been posted as shot in AK then again in CAN.

It may be that it wasn't killed where it says it was killed.... but to call that a photoshop is a shot in the dark. Anybody that's seen these in the wild knows they get BIG.

I've seen em in the wild....and they are DAMN big.

Not likely that it's a photoshop.

Oh, BTW, I've been to SV, the only livestock within 50 miles of Sun Valley are white SUVs and XC skiing elitists. LOL

Speaking of this topic, where are you Montanans at? We have 7 down so far here in Idaho. One dumbass was in the wrong area, however, and got pinched after he reported the kill.

we got 3 down... two north of the park and one up in the bob marshall wilderness by kalispell... my truck has been broken so i havent been able to go out and get one but its all fixed and things are looking good for the weekend. i cant wait to grin ear to ear for peta and the such for my picture :D

I've spent many years in the Stanley area and have seen wolves multible times and none have been THAT big. The CO in Stanley has chased the wolves out of the Stanley city limits on his snowmobile before, I don't think he would have done that if wolves were the size of that one.

Ha, me an Scott have already had this conversation about the Killer Bs. Living in Chilly, I could imagine that you would like to see a pretty big landslide just on the other side of Trail Creek Summit. At least where I grew up we had Galena Pass and 30 miles of windy Salmon River Canyon road in thier way.

Chilly, huh? And I thought Clayton was small.
