Wolf Hunts are on! Molloy Denies Enviros Injunction Request

I'am all for the hunts but from what I read I don't think you can use any calls for them:rolleyes:

holy crap, molley didnt step in and save the wolves? im pleasently suprised!!

I was guessing he just wouldn't rule at all. That way he could sit back and say he didn't vote for them or against them. Kind of riding the fence type of deal.

So for him to come out and let it ride was a huge step.

Could you imagine the screaming from Idaho Fish and Game if they had to turn over the $143,000 they have taken in, in tag sales.

A little political pressure goes a long ways. Thanks to everyone for purchasing a tag even if you don't go hunt them. Just the numbers speak for themselves.

And for those of us that plan on hitting the woods when your season opens. Good luck, and honestly play by the rules. Nothing would be worse then going out and doing something stupid to give the wolf lovers some ammo the next time this comes around. Lets just play by the rules and see how things go.

Really no different that riding sleds in closed areas. We all preach stay out of closed areas so the greenies don't have a case. Kind of the same deal hear with the wolves. IMO.

Thunder

Boy, did we ever dodge a bullet today. Just after Molloy issued his decision the news broke that the 4th wolf was actually killed in the McCall Zone, instead of the Sawtooth Zone as was previoulsy reported. The hunter has been cited for killing a wolf out of season and the animal, his gun, etc has been confiscated.

What were you saying about playing by the rules Artic Thunder?

This is publicity that we did not need, even though it appears that the hunter made an honest mistake of not knowing what area he was in. You can bet this will be all over the papers here soon. Here is the Idaho Statesman's take http://www.idahostatesman.com/235/story/893652.html?storylink=omni_popular
