Gonna be riding wolf for the first time on sunday. Just looking for some tips on where to park and start riding from. I've ridden everywhere in co except down there. We'll be staying in pagosa if that makes a difference for a starting point. Thanks in advance.

I was there 4 days ago but we stayed in South Fork. We trailered up to the top and unloaded. The parking lot is about a mile from the ski area if that helps any. We rode the trail west and found some good stuff.

Top of the pass would be closest to the Pagosa side. Cdot has a plowed area where people park, just to the west of the ski area. So if you get to the ski area turn around and go back just a little.

Also Tucker's pond, and Park Creek to unload at on the South Fork side.

But from what I've seen, I'd just ride the top. Other spots are ok, and probably better for newbs, but they could use a little more snow as they are lower elevation. So Tuckers for instance you got to ride 6 or 7 miles to get to deeper snow.
