heard it went into the creek-river next to the road...wow pretty big.
heard the creek got backed up behing the "ice" dam and then broke free taking out a 100 yard section of bank and road.
hope there is a workaround,, or we get some equipment ---peeps in there quick as this could take all season to fix..

Snow is deep at Finney Creek, Nw Glacier Crusier Club ride saturday at 9:00 at Finney Creek. Wed. 3 ft of new snow in 1st snow park a Baker, groomer pushed for 3 hours trying to clear. parking lot more than likely 2-3 ft more by friday afternoon?
Are you guys serious about the road in?
Who would have started a rumor like that??

club ride up there saturday - we've never been, so I think we're gonna check it out
I will know more to night on road in and the parking lot at baker. I will be talking to the groomer.

Finney sounds good. I wouldn't go near Baker. Way too many places to slide up there. Be safe if you do............

I just got off the phone with a buddy of mine who went up there yesterday.
He had to park about 100' off the main paved road and ride from there.
The road up to the snow park was littered with branches and was a little tore up from a large dozer for a little ways in.
They got up to the Salad Bowl and just played there as the climbs were too deep and unstable.
He said it was an awesome day with extremely deep powder!
Y'all be careful.

Baker yesterday
The road in was very narrow. I was also up there yesterday and we were able to break into the salad bowl but no further... We parked about 100 yards off the main rode and it was a good thing we did. The rode narrows quite a bit to the size of a 8 ft trailer... It appeared that groomer had groomed up to the snow bridge and then the snow got really deep...It was deep up until the snow bridge but then the bottom seem to drop out once you crossed it... All in all it was an good day to play on the face going in and out of the salad bowl... We Tore it up!!! All day there were only my group of 3 and 2 others that showed up a bit later....

Are you talking about the Schriebers side or the Bearpaw side? Not sure where the salad bowl is eventhough I have ridden both. Thanks, we were going to try Schreibers tomorrow, anyone know if the road is wide enough to park on right now?
The groomer clear the parking lot today 3ft of new in it. and 5to 6ft at the snow bridge in the pass 2 days.
Yeah what he said. It was the deepest I've ever seen it today and their are massive slabs over hanging every East Facing hill. BE CAREFUL!!!
