With the Alt Impact 36" arms check your front spring preload... A couple weeks after installing the 36" arms on my wife's sled I was baffled with why the rear suspension seemed flat... the back end suspension was dropping or sagging way down. I know there's always a little "sag" with the Polaris rear suspension, but there was way more sag then with my sled which has the 39" A/I arms. It dawned on me that with the geometry change due to the 36" arms, the front shocks had essentially been squeezed to a more compressed setup then the stock set up. Once I realized this I eased the spring preload to about 5 threads showing above the springs, with that adj. the rear suspension sag was back to the normal 2 or 3 inches of drop. Before figuring this out I was sure my wife's sled rear shock / spring was shot. Anyway... hope these thoughts might improve your ride and save you some time trying to figure out what the hell is up with the excessive rear suspension sag. All good now
