Wiseco Pistons

I currently have a 2008 Polaris IQ 700. On wiseco's website the do not have a piston kit listed for such a machine. They do however have listed for a 700 Dragon RMK. I would assume that this piston kit would work (being the same Bore and Stroke). My machine is fuel injected. Am I incorrect in my thoughts here? Anybody have any insight on this?

Thanks,
Taylor

To be sure go on one of the on-line sites with parts fiche and look up both models to see if they use the same piston. It is likely the same but not something you should guess on.

Called the local dealer and he looked up the oem numbers for my sled and for a 700 dragon rmk. The RMK takes a different oem number however the switchback is the same number. Thanks for the reply!

I'm not sure, but sometime around 08-09 Polris switched from a single ring to a double ring piston(or viseversa). I'm having the same problem, mine is a 09 700 RMK and wiseco doesn't list it. I'm trying to find out if a 700 dragon wiseco will work for mine.

2008 D7 Wiseco Piston clearance

I found the Wisecos for a 2008 D7 on the website. Are all Wisecos forged? Secondly should the piston clearance be set to .004-.005 on forged? The cast OE specs show .0042-.006 .
