So the NOS is predicting up to 10 inches in the mountains of North Idaho tonight and have issued a Winter Storm Warning!!! Also snow in the forecast all weekend and into next week. Hoping to get my first ride in on the new sled up at Lookout by next weekend. I need some break in miles!

C'MON POW!

Later Snowmies!

Will be up around 6,000 ft today elk hunting. Will let you know what is there this afternoon.

I just checked out the ski report for Lookout Pass Ski Resort and they got hit with 8" of new snow as of 5am and it is still snowing hard. There is now 12" at the summit and it is supposed to snow all weekend and into next week. NWS is now saying up to 13 MORE inches today/tonight and 7" tomorrow.

Check out this pic. Even more beautiful than the brand new sled sitting in the garage... Well maybe just a little less than that.

Was up around 5600 ft and there was about 8-10 inches of fluffy powder. Hard to tell exactly how much because the wind had blown pretty hard last night. :face-icon-small-hap

its supposed to snow all week at west mountain! i bet we can get a road ride in!?

I hope you are right :) I'm making the little lady a bit angry starting the sled in the garage just to smell the sweet perfume of 2-stoke exhaust. Even tho i air it out good, she claims it stinks her car up... can you believe that???...wth??? :)

C'mon Old Man winter.....BRING IT!!

Cheers!

nice forcast

That would be incredible. I'm planning my first ride on Nov 20. Snow is supposed to stay pretty steady in the mountains this week so if it storms hard on the 19th I would be STOKED!

There was more snow last night. What was 8-10 inches yesterday is now knee deep this morning. There should be plenty of snow for road riding next weekend for those of you lucky enough to be breaking in new sleds.

What we have to put up with is inhumane, some times I really miss being single, I get the same, except its me that smells like Two stroke smoke.

MAMMOTHWEATHER.COM ... RENO AND HANFORD say the chances are increasing.

Lookout Pass is opening on Friday the 18th so that's a damn good sign. I think I'll go get a break-in ride in this weekend. I'm tired of garage dockin'.

Talked to one of the groomer board members and he said he measured 15" at the sub-station up at Burke on Sunday afternoon. :face-icon-small-hap
