Winter, is, fading, up, here, in, New, England.

I was in Cancun with the family last week-boy, what a nice place it is down there and now I know what all inclusive resorts are all about although I was thinking about the snowbike and sled much of the time.

Things had warmed up a lot last week and this week it is/will be above freezing up north every day and even though a big storm might come on Friday, it might slide south enough to miss the entire north woods, even still, March is Thursday and nothing holds spring back outside of nuclear holocaust so I may be putting the wheels back on my bike so I can start riding back and forth to work again and just look forward to next winter.

It is sort of sad, but I am looking forward to the dirt and riding the bike with wheels.

that's sad. We should have enough snow to ride until late July maybe August this year.

We just got enough snow here in Utah to officially start winter activities. Dunno how long it will stick around, hopefully a couple of months yet.

It is always bittersweet at the end of every winter when all the snow goes but we all can look forward to the dirtbike/streetbike/boat/fishing season. The variety and change is nice.

Next winter will be awesome as I've got everything dialed in, provided my bike stays running well for the next 9 months or so.

Im still waiting for winter. I've only got 1 day in and wasn't even able to get off trail. Looks like we might see winter this wknd.

Whats the terrain like up there Ben? Ive never been that far east..

So totally different from all the pictures and video's I've seen from "out west."

We don't have any open spaces even close to what it is like out there never mind vistas of snow covered mountains. Our mountains start out at about 1,000' and max out at just over 4,000' where your hills just start out higher to begin with.

There are NO areas that are open for the public to ride in/boondock on at all, in any of the states here in New England. It is "Stay on trail or stay home" up this way. Most of the riding is on private lands so unless one knows where all the clearcuts are in the forests, no one buys many mountain/powder sleds up this way as there is nowhere to ride them legally.

All the trails are mostly old logging roads as logging is about all done.

I'm lucky as where my BIL had moved to in VT, he knows all the landowners around and they let us ride the fresh anytime we want so I have the access to the powder and off-trail otherwise I wonder if I'd ever have a snowbike at all.

Ha I’m living that statement.

Rode in 4-5’ of snow all weekend......
Bikes couldn’t barely move under their own power.

Sleds were the weapon of choice.

Beware.......

Alaska is so sweet when the days start getting longer!

Snowstorm coming Wednesday/Thursday, maybe riding Friday or Saturday. The last hurrah!

I won't mind if it is the last day(s) to ride as we all do look forward to riding on the dirt/street again.

Come, on, snow!

Man, I'm glad that, for once, my pessimism actually paid-off.

Snowstorm last Thursday. Another one yesterday. There is now a lot of snow-for this part of the world, to ride on for at least a week or two more.

Funny, when I look back on 02/27, and I was thinking that winter and all the snow was, it really was, fading and melting at that time, then we get 3 storms, back to back to back, one week apart giving me three more glorious powder rides and the chance to go back up again this Friday night and ride with my daughter.

We might have another week or two left of riding before mud-season.

It has been an awesome snowbike season and it will be even better for next winter as I'll have no more questions regarding set-up and whatnot.

That my daughter has been loving riding the little yellow sled may necessitate a new SnoScoot ES next fall and a TS Ripper as well. We will see how this spring/summer/fall go.
