Will the people leaving.. um just leave!

54 posts and UR telling the old-timers what to do???

I spit on 54 posts.............:D:D:D

How many of those 1000+ posts of yours actually had content and how many are from the max post thread?

You guys treat newer people with the same disrespect that you say SnoWest treats you. Ummmmm, doesn't that make you hypocritical.

It doesn't matter if you've been here 10 yrs or 10 weeks, I thought this site was about shared knowledge, not post counting & pissing contest's.

Don't you all realize what you're doing to the sport outside of this forum. Gone are the days when sledders will be on the hill, come up to another group of riders and start shooting the breeze about SnoWest. The divided camps in here are/will be transferred to the mountain. I for 1 don't want to share my SnoWest nickname on the mountain. If I'm talking to one of the peeps, who like in this thread, spread hate and discontent, I don't want to have to deal with any kind of confrontation and discussion about "How SnoWest did this" and "How can you side with Christopher and his cronies"

This is a website forum for gods sake!!!!! Not life.

Maybe the Rebels site is better, maybe its not. I don't know and I don't care. I want to talk about SNOWMOBILING, that's why we are all here. SO, if you dont find SnoWest a place where you can feel comfortable and have a good time, then stop posting here and go the the site of your choice. There's alot of things/places/people in this world that I don't like. I CHOOSE not to associate with them.

IF ALL OF YOU WHO VOICE THE LOUDEST HERE ARE TRULY FOR THE SPORT OF SNOWMOBILING, YOU WILL STEP BACK, LOOK AT WHATS HAPPENING, AND DO WHATS BEST FOR THE SPORT, NOT YOUR EGO.

Whats more important? A forum war where nobody wins. Or the sport and all that peeps here and at Rebels contribute to it. C'mon people, lets find and get back to what's important

t

Content? Well, let's look at it this way: You've been thanked 1 time for your CONTENT....I've been thanked 98 times....

Please take a little time and review my previous posts B4 you decide I have little to offer here........U just might see you have made a serious error in your assumption....CU on the HILL..........

haha some of u people are little b*tches... stop your whining and bickering and go play in the snow already..

i gotta admit tho its kind of entertaining now in a pathetic way..

You were ripping on plumnuts for his low post count. I never questioned the validity of the content of your posts. Just the number that had actual content, not meaningless babble from Max Post. So, cool down your "I gotta defend my honor jets" and read my post for what its trying to say. You jumped to a conclusion and it was wrong, causing you to miss the entire point of my post.

You have obviously been here a lot longer than me and most certainly know a lot more about the mechanics of sleds than I. BUT, the point was, it shouldn't matter how many post a person has, they are still trying to contribute. You were at a small number too, once.

The fact that you completely ignored the rest of my post, proves the post's whole point. Its more about EGO in here than helping the sledding community. I dont care if you have 10K posts or 10, it sure as hell doesn't make you any better than anyone else. Just a guy who posted a lot and is appreciated for his contribution. So, please chill a little bit.

And......I'm not sure the "CU on the Hill" was a challenge or a threat, either way, it doesn't matter. I'm sure you will see me. I hope you'll recognize me from the back of my helmet on the hill above you.

UR 100% right....Been around a long time and have never before allowed myself to drop to these low levels of petty debate.....Guess I'm a little ticked that SW deleted one of my threads from yesterday........Don't take it personal, we just need to pick the forum that suits us best, enjoy the ride and truly truly look forward to meeting each other on the HILL.....Was certainly not a threat, but an an invitation to say HI..........G'nite

** Offers a hand shake and a "Pray for POW with me because I want to ride my track off this year"

CU on the Hill too. :beer;

BTW: I've actually learned from the content of some of your posts on here, Thank you. And thanks to all that have offered what they thought were trivial comments about something, but were actually educational to those of us who have been riding along time, yet never got deep into the mechanics of it all.

Um, couple things... If you'd been here longer than what, 3 months?? you'd know that Lk Cle Elum posts lots of good info, one of the more helpful on here I'd say.

As for "you guys" treating people with disrespect.... thats crap to. These "old timers" rock. They usually welcome newbs with open arms, invite newbs on rides and more. If you'd been a member for more that the short time you have been, you'd know that.

And I'd have to disagree about the length of time someone has contributed and whether or not it matters.

Calm down new guy, you don't have much info to work with!;):beer;

By the way, the post count from the Max thread was deducted from users post counts. I liken some of the arguments like this: Some of you are subs that come in with 5 minutes left in a game and ask the starters why they are tired. Read some of the old posts from the users that have been here a while. Don't base your opinion on what has been said for the last 2 months.

Gawd Dam rite.
Well said.

You clearly don't get it and since we've already met and you seem like a good guy I will do my best to explain something to you that I think you're missing...
It's not that the "Old timers" don't respect a fellow sledder who just came to this site and has a low post count, Not at all, we often invite the new guys on rides and such. in fact we do it all the time.
We will also give away parts or time to someone, anyone just because they need it and we have it.

We DO have a problem with the new guys who come here with a low post count and a month on their join date and take sides with what we see as the end of a decade of kinship and a very tight bond between good people who will, at the drop of a hat give hundreds or thousands to Gracie simply because she's very ill and is related to another "Old timer" and her parents are barely keeping it together.
Or give to Animal's girls who suffered the tremendous loss of their father under an avalanche. The list goes on a mile long like the many volunteers who will load up at a moments notice to get onto the mountain when a stranger is lost in the snow.

Now...When a new guy starts defending the changes and the over moderating that we absolutely hate and see as the beginning of the end here it really feels like, as sledders, we are loosing even more ground.
I hope you can relate to the analogy and if you can then you WILL understand the feeling of loss.
Actually, you don't even have to be defending the changes but the newbs that tell the old timers to just "Go Away" or "Quit Whining" might as well be saying "thanks for nothing for all those years of building this site into one of the very best forums ever" or tell us to give up fighting for what we believe in (Even though we know we can't win)
So act accordingly when you think about trashing those who built what you are now enjoying.

We'll be somewhere else. Just be patient and you can inherit our left-overs when we go. that is all that will be left.

I'm sure this will be deleted within minutes because I stated an opinion.
