was just thinking to myself if klim may fall out of favor with some who ride other brands? i swap manufacturers all the time here lately so i'm wearing all different brands and it doesn't matter to me, but for the brand loyal will this change your mind about being one of the "klim" clan???

clothes aren't sleds....people tend to go after quality if they can afford it...but the poo company philosophy will gradually displace the quality of klim, i believe...poo bean counters always seem to think they can substitute a cheaper component in their products and that no one will notice, not so !!, eventually it catches up...the engine, the voltage regulators, drive shaft, rubber band...how many weeks does a guy sit out during the season before he gets it?....

Couldn't have said it better.

Luckily I acquired my Klim gear pre-poo (is that like a fart?) Regardless, I think if certain people know that Klim is owned by Polaris they will tend to shy away. Whether it is quality concerns or moral qualms with the company. It will hurt sales. I know I won't be giving any money to them.

It just sickens me that a company that built itself on quality and customer service would sell to a company known for cutting corners and alienating it's customers.

All my gear right now is Klim. For next year or two if any of it needs replacing it will not be Klim I will let others see if the quality stays. If Polaris keeps the quality then I will continue buying klim after the initial year or two. But for now its Motorfist for me.
