the machine fires up but only idles at about 900 if you give it some throttle it bogs once you get past the bog the mid to full range it runs good reset the tps and idle still the same and the reverse will not work could it be the ecu or the capacitor?

Same problem
I have exactly the same problem on my 05 RMK 900, just started during yesterdays ride, and this morning when unloading off the truck. ( 800 rpm idle and no reverse, and a bog off idle.)
Opened the hood and looked around, and on its own the idle came up and the reverse started to work.????
I also noticed when this was happening, the needle on the RPM guage would flip back and forth on its own without hitting the revese button.????
Maybe a short in the wiring???

Check your hood electrical connector at hood hinge i bet you will find green corrosion in that plug check them both with a flash light.

There are two in the throttle block housing,wich likes to wear in an oval due to high effort required.
