WILL NEWER EDGE SEAT FIT 2000 LITE 340?

I just bought a super clean 2000 POLARIS 340 LITE (for my 8 1/2 year old daughter, as she's outgrown her PINK 120) that I'd like to update a bit.

Does anyone know for sure if the newer EDGE seat from a 2006 (with the nicer tail light) would fit the 2000? (Especially if it matches at the front /console area)

I don't mind fabricating a new front bracket if need be, as long as the finished product looks good.

Or, any other suggestions?

I'm working on my '94 right now. The hood is different than yours, but otherwise I think the seat and tank are the same. I was actually looking at my 2010 IQ as the front of the seat would almost match the angle of the tank. It would take a bracket to support the front end and then the rear drop legs to hold it up. As far as an edge seat, I'm not sure they would meet up across the top/front as well.

I installed a 136 x 1.25 off a Trail RMK and a dash bag for storage.

Don't know about the seat, but hydraulic brakes can be easily installed. This sled should remain in your family for a long time as it will be harder and harder to find them, especially in such killer shape. Thanks for the pictures. Good score. 550iq
