Well I have been wanting to mod out my 05 900 for awhile now. been thinking about pipes and heads and porting when a guy I know said we should put a turbo on it he has just done 2 turbo kits one on a jet ski and one on an apex both run real well. my ?? is I have 750 miles on my crank with no problems the runout is .0015 and I have it out doing motor mnts and piston should I boost it or not.

Do it. I have 3000 miles on my crank. 1000 of those boosted and it runs great. Have never checked run out but it hasnt failed me yet. This is on a 2005 also. Built my own kit

X2 turboed and you will not want to go back. I have a controller if you decide to go that way.

x3 on a turbo...

i hear nothing but GREAT things about them...sure they are $$, but worth every penny for the fun factor.

i have even heard that the pistons look better after a season of boost then a standard 866cc, lol...and the engine runs better with boost...

and its one of the hardest sleds to beat already...and with boost..shoot..no brainer..so if you have the money to do it...DO it...

i will eventually get a turbo setup on one of my 900s...but i need to learn to ride "better" first ;)
