Will it work? 2000 P-85 clutch on 2009 D8?

I shouldve asked this before I bought this clutch...

But, my primary on my D8 broke in half. Today I bought a new primary clutch that was made in 2000.

Correct me if I'm wrong... But I don't think this will work on my D8 as it is a smaller taper than what is on my dragons crank......

The guy I bought it from is a stand up guy and offered my money back, but if I can Make it work that'll be great.
