I have a buyer that want to buy the seat for his 1997 sx 700. the seat is from 1999 mountain max. He dont know if it will fit so I thought that I would ask someone on this forum. thanks.

It should be the same seat. In 2000 they changed to blue but I think the same shell.

Yes, they will interchange but I am pretty sure the pigtail for the brake light wiring is a little different so he may have to splice his old pigtail in.
