Will Gen 2 hood fit on Wedge?

i did it without changing the belly pan, i made an alluminum bracket to go into place instead of the nose cone. then made a bracket to the hood to allow hinges to mount to the nose cone and bracket. The alluminum nose cone is covered, but my father in law in an upholsterer so that part was easy. looks great even stock. you have to buy the console that goes over the seat and gas can, they even make one that is straight on the sides so it sits nicely against the seat/tank.

I'm actually going to buy a Mountain fit hood that is the Gen 2 but fits the wedge. They also make a Edge hood as well that fits the wedge that has a cool vent kit you can buy. If the vent kit fits the wedge model then I'm going with edge hood. But I like the gen 2 hood the best. Wedge hoods are cool if you run your light and windshield but I won't be. I think they look stupid if you run them naked.

My biggest reason was the durability of the hood. When i bought the sled, the hood was destroyed, i spent hours glassing it back together and prepping for paint, then the wind caught it when it was up and ripped it off the spring and broke it. I was done after that.

If anybody is interested in this route and how it was done, let me know, i will take some more pictures of the parts that were made to make it fit nice.
