Will fox rear shocks off a G4 165 work for G5 165

Does anyone know if the rear shocks from a G4 will transfer to a G5?
I have a set of Fox QS3 rears.

From what I can see on Fox’s website and cross reference to BRP, part numbers don’t seem to match.
Answered my own question.

Nope the rear shocks are longer, front work though

Will work you will just lose about an inch of travel

Does that mean that putting G5 skid shocks onto a G4 will lift the rear end an inch? That could match nicely with some lift spindles.

No the arms are longer on the G5. It’s a different rear suspension.
