will a dynoport pipe from a 02 summit work on a 01 mxz

a freind gave me his dyno port pipe from his totaled sled an 02 summit. I have a 01 mxz engine in a summit and was wondering if this would work and if there is any difference between the pipes. this will be going on to a mxz engine that has been compleatly rebuilt, new top and bottom and into a super q can.

Will work fine, same engine.

Depending on where you ride you may need to adjust the Rave valve spring pretension.

What year is the chassis? The outlet hole in a 01 and 02 are different.

No it won't work without modification. the outlets were different and they made the change to the pipe to compensate for it. It will be different where the last bend is before going to the can.
