Detonated a piston and the crank on my 07 summit.Found a deal on a 08xp motor. So will a 08xp motor bolt into 07rev? Will the wireing connectors match up?

Same motor, minor differences. Bolts in fine.

The real diff is the the motor plate (swap bottom plates from XP to REV and use a new gasket)... wiring (use the 2007 stator/pick ups) and the pulse line nipples on the case is different...creative hose routing is all that required for fit..good luck-BJ

I have a 07 summit 159 with the 08 motor, it sounds better and definatly pulls harder!! Just a word of advise to not trust the det sensor, i have bad experiences. also there is alot of old gas out there, maybe some research into toluene is a good thing?! it works for me
