Will a 07 M8 can fit a 06 M7??????

Hey guys i have a 07 M8 with "The Thing" can and i am wondering if it will fit an 06 M7. I talked to my dealer and he says yes anybody no forsure try it? Thanks guy for the help.

I know that a stock muffler off of an 07 M8 fit a 05 M7 , so I'm pretty sure a aftermarket can should fit also.

As stated above all 6's, 7's, and 8's are the same.

The guy i was selling it to said he talked to a dealer that sells "The Thing" can and he said they are different wouldn't work? I don't see how this is true

The cans will fit interchangeably but SLP told me that I shouldn't put my M7 can on my M8
