Will a 01 summit skid fit in a 06 renegade

I bought a 01 summit skid 151 and was told it will bolt right in a 06 renegade does anyone know if it will? any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm also looking to go to a 15" track what are the pros and cons

01 Skid into a REV

They are not the same, the ZX is narrower. Not saying you can't make it fit, with special spacers, longer bolts and possibly a different rear mount. The big one is to match the bolt spacing, that the skid was originally mounted in. This is important to keep the skid from binding thru various motions.
If you're interested, I've got a rear suspension from an 07 Summit. It's complete, except for rails (unless you want 144 rails)(which actually fits well in a Renegade, without any tunnel extension). The suspension is very reasonable, PM me if interested.

Don't the newer rears address the ratchet issue to some degree? I know the '02 Renegades have a lot more going on than the '02 Summits. IMO the '01 151 Summit susp sucks as it doesn't tighten the track as the front end collapses. What doo the '06's have?
