will 12 assault drive shaft work in a 15 pro?

Any help would be much help. I'm sure there is a post on here somewhere to answer my question but I've been looking for an hour and haven't found it.

So what I'm looking at doing is taking the drive shaft off my 12 assault because I have them set up with an 3x on it now and putting it on my 15 Pro but just wondering if I can just switch shafts also or if I just have to bit the bullet and get new drivers for both since the pitch are different.

as far as I know it will not work. since the ends are changed for the quick drive versus chaincase

The chain case style shaft ('11-'12) works for the QD ('13-'15) but the QD shaft does not have the provision for the seal ring required on the chain case models.

thank you, ya I forgot we put a assault drive shaft in a customers pro so that was a chaincase into a quickdrive

so all assaults would be to swap shafts then, because there chain case? like 12 assault to a 13+?
