Anyone seeing Elk, Deer, or cats on the trail? Reports of Elk, and Bobcats from the Tamerack springs, and Taneum Creek areas. Sure would like to see some. Thought Deer and Elk would be down low by now.

There should be lots of deer in the lower Taneum this time of year. Just watch the sunny slopes on your way in. They are there. Saw one of the biggest bulls i''ve seen in there last year.
I rode the Taneum area the past 2 days. On Thursday, I had a cow elk run across the trail right in front of me. Looked like she was doing about 40 MPH....Had seen 6 or 7 deer up on the ridge above the Cedar Creek trail about an hour before.....
I have not seen any in this area on the trails--
But last year in Wyoming--while we were riding into the lodge--we had to stop for 2 herds of Elk and 1 about 2 year old Moose that would not get off the trail---was way cool.

Saw a herd of about 5 elk last weekend. They were standing right in the middle of the trial around a corner. they were pretty low 3 miles from the sno park.
