Wildhorse or the Canyon

Hey Randy if you hear anything on snow conditions let me know. I'm off wednesday and thursday this week and really wanna get the sled out with the new long track and make sure she rides good! Wish I was off this weekend, I'd ride with ya.

Looking for more info for northern Elko County?... find elkosledheads on facebook. That said, rode up into the canyon yesterday, decent snow, but SOFT! BE CAREFUL where you tread! I would avoid burying a ski doing powder turns and such, but you could ride up there, and with the soft snow, it'll work out your mountain sled. Still just rumors floating in from up north. "Say" its deep and good, but the one photo I saw on the facebook page didnt confirm that? I grew up there for 15 years, and you really need 3'+ to get off the roads... and I just dont believe its there yet? Some rideing buddies headed up wed, maybe some pics to follow... the facebook page is where they'll end up, as most of these guys arent SnoWest forum users.

The canyon is pretty decent Randy. Last weeks snowfall dropped another 10" or so. Low snow at outhouse level, but enough snow at elevation to pull most the chutes off the dollars, good climbs off Lamoille lake, launch pad, and all the ski hill's next to launch pad. I went out with my son Chris last Sunday, nearly froze to death but had a blast!!

I was up there on Sunday also. I saw you up there with your kid. I was on the carbon fiber hooded m800. My son was on his m8 with the wrap on it. It was cold. Good snow but cold. Glad to see you on a new pro chassis.
