Headed up to Strawberry to go take some freinds sleddin' for the first time and ended up puttin the Expedition staight into the center barricade:eek: Super slick, just tapped the brakes to avoid the other truck/ trailers who were also sliding in front of us, thought I saved it until the inertia of the loaded four place took over and took us for a ride. Total damage , 1 Expedition, 1 four place open deck, and currently checking over all the sleds for damage. All 4 sleds broke loose both ski bars and rear tiedowns let go but somehow managed to stay on the trailer. Too bad because as we were sittin there with the UHP the snow stopped, clouds parted and we could see it was gonna be a Bluebird day

Ouch! And you didn't even get to ride. Did this happen in Provo canyon? Sorry to hear.

That sucks man! I guess as long as nobody was seriously hurt, the rest will sort itself out. Sucks to lose a good day of riding though no matter how you look at it!

Yeah, that's what I was most upset about. Insurance will take care of the truck and trailer but missin' out on a Bluebird day is tough.:face-icon-small-sad
I still wanted to ride but didn't think we could limp the the the car up to the top of Daniel's, lost a ton of tranny fluid through the crushed tranny cooler. Now I'm just waitin for the adjuster to show up

I'll bet at the bottom where the sun don't hit it until July? That is a treacherous drive.

Be very thorough in looking at the sleds, they probably have damage if they ripped out of the tie downs...any scratch will be considered here. Take them into a dealer for a full inspection....Trust me it will amaze you what your insurance will replace. Last week I had a substantial claim for a broken bumper and belly pan....very substantial. Be picky it pays in the long run with insurance.

your right though. loosing a bluebird day is indeed priceless:face-icon-small-sad

just my .02:face-icon-small-coo
