Okay, got a Wii for the kids with Sports games:

Looking to get a Wii Fit, is this like a controller where each person needs one? or does it work for a group?

Saw a war game commercial guys were running around shooting, anyone know what the game is called (Obviously NOT for the kids). Any other games that can't be lived without?

That shooting game is Medal of Honor. Looks awesome, we're getting a Wii for xmas, it's like a new version on the old Duck Hunter game, anyone remember that?

I don't know on the Wii Fits though, might check out Best Buy or somewhere else.

The wii is a good family unit... Lots of fun and makes you get off your butt....

The sports package is a great one... What I did learn is you want better games... Start with the wii golf, eventually went and picked up Tigerwoods 09, talk about day & night difference....

Now i want a better bowling game... That is addicting...

Starting to get into the tennis one as well.

Not much for the boxing... Might be cause the wifes kicks my *** all the time

We are just starting to get more games... Zelda is cool for a thinking challenging, think your way throught it game... Kid friendly as well.

Have fun.... It is alot like the x-bax and PS3, you can hook it up via wireless and play online... I have it hooked up, but haven't played online yet..

Mario Kart is a good one...

For everyone I'd also look into getting the new guitar hero or rock band...it is fun to include everyone or it can be played by one person.

Call of Duty 5 looks sweet, they advertise it on TV for the Wii too. Get Tiger Woods '09 if you like golf.

Medal of honor is pretty good. Tiger woods golf is sweet if you like golf. Wii fit is fun we only had 1 pad but it was ok to just have one person at a time do it. Mario cart is fun. Mario party is fun. Call of duty is fun. Oh by the way I'm only 20 yrs old on Wii fit and yes I'm tooting my own horn cause I'm the only one in my fam that has a lower age on there than their actual age.

They do an age thing based off weight and some fitness stuff. Its a pretty neat program they figure out body fat index and what not I havent had a chance to really get on a schedule and push it but you can set goals for weight lose and time line its supposed to work out pretty good.

The lego ones are supposed to be pretty fun like indiana jones and batman.

Yes it works for a group, you take turns, but it is fun to watch the other people.

Any other games that can't be lived without?

another vote for Mario Kart. Also, if you don't already have guitar hero or rock band with another system, they are fun too.

OK Wii fit is a complete hit. I got Call of Duty, can't find the Zapper gun anywhere and I find it tough to play as I am not coordinated enough to have the nunchuck in my left hand and the controller in my right and operate both of them. The Wii sports is ok but I do want to get a better golf game, Tiger Woods. My daughter is running on the Wii fit more than she has in the last 6 months without it.

We got a Wii for xmas, ton of fun! Bought Tiger Woods PGA tour 09' and had a party, 4 am and we were still going!

Pick up Mario Cart, a couple wheels and a couple controllers. It's awesome. We got Zelda too

We got a Wii for this Christmas. Lasted about 3 weeks and it won't do anything now.

The remotes started getting week. The hand woulnd't show up on the menu screen.

Then the golfer wouldn't address the ball...and he would hold his club at the apex of his backswing.

Now it won't even turn on. Green power light is on. Disk goes in and out...I can't even get a menu on the screen. The remotes just flash the four blue lights at me and nothing happens.

I've replaced the batteries in the remotes. I've hit the reset button on the front, I've checked the connections, I've made sure the wand sensor it not obstructed.

It's like it's dead.

It still takes the disks in and out though.

try unhooking the power from the unit for about 3 minutes and try again.

Replace the battery in the unit, its a button battery.
