Baker City OR, only 3500 feet in town but over 6000 up to 7200 peaks

GET OUT!!!!! I'm just over the hill, We have nothing at 6000, Halfcase and I where on the mt. all day on the bikes. Would gladly trade a nobbie for some lugs.

Looks like October here this morning, I'll bet there will be snow on the peaks in the morning. A friend in Helena said there is a snow advisory over 7000' tonoght.

agreed, last year we had 4" at 9000ft 8/15/09 and our winter sucked.

We too had 2" during bow season (Sept.) and our winter sucked too. Didn't start snowing till it was too late. Then it was that thick, heavy and sticky crap.
