wide band 02 gauge

I have a innovate gauge on my apex. The thing reads 22.4 when sled is off and goes from 8 to 22 when driving " up and down my street" so not to crazy but the thing should be reading alot diff than flashing up and down? I thought the sensor was screwed so i got one out of my freinds car same # Can some one shed some light for me please.

still having probs with it hay check the ground on the wiring harness bad ground can make them do strange things.you will get some strange reading at idle with the short pipe though.try adding some fuel with you pl box while its idling to see if the # change
