S summit800 Well-known member Lifetime Membership Mar 24, 2009 #1 put 2 new spi pistons in with replated cylinders , 3 rides on it and both pins on the pistons snapped off, didn't do any damage to the cylinders ,put a few dents in the head!!, can any one tell me why they would do this???

R Red-eye Well-known member Mar 24, 2009 #2 I have seen detonation loosen the locator pins on the rings. Or bad ring gap????
