I bought a new thermostat for my garage that I can turn off instead of just down so the furnace doesn't run when I am not using in there. Hooked it up worked great and was happy, then it gets really cold out and drops to about 30 degrees in the garage and I try to turn on the heat and nothing happens. So I figure maybe the batteries in the thing are dead and I change them and same thing no heat. The last resort is the instructions and in the fine print it says (will not operate below 32 degrees)
what good is a thermostat that won't work when its cold. What a POS. It now became an expensive thermometer.
